Combined with this and the carbide segment saw, removing broken or damaged tiles for replacement becomes very straightforward. The rasp is also effective at removing badly flaked old paint, or putty residue from window frames when re-glazing. These can also be used on wood for coarse shaping, or for quickly removing rotten wood from window frames etc prior to filling. Scraper / Sealant Blades (SC)Great for removing, scraping, stripping old paint, hardened adhesives, caulk, coatings and residues. Easily lifts laminate, vinyl, wood, floor, wall coverings and even cuts carpet / felt. Sanding Pads and Sheets (SK)A hook and loop sanding backing pad designed for the felt backed sanding sheets. Unlike traditional delta pads these have a slight radius to each side that matches the arc of rotation of the machine. This enables you to sand right up to an adjacent surface with no risk of straying onto it, or hammering against an edge as you would with a traditional delta sander. Use the 40/80-grit for rough wood or metal sanding and rust or old finish removal. Use the 120/180-grit for general wood or metal sanding and the 240-grit for the finishing touch of wood, metal, plaster and other surfaces Do not apply excessive force when sanding as this results in a poor finish and excessive wear to tools and attachments.
